Boston Commuter Service

The MVRTA Boston Commuter Bus allows you to eliminate the hassle from your daily commute, by giving you a virtually one stop ride.  With the Boston Commuter Bus you can let one of our friendly drivers do all the work, while you sit back, relax, read a book or even take a nap in one of four inbound trips in the morning and five outbound trips in the evening.

  • Corner of Broadway (Rt. 28) & Bowdoin St, Lawrence

  • Andover Center Municipal Parking lot, Andover
  • Faith Lutheran Church Park & Ride, Andover
North Andover - Boston Commuter Bus.  
There will be one inbound trip in the morning and one outbound in the evening.

  All our buses are accessible to persons with disabilities

Attention: The afternoon Boston Commuter buses will pick up on State Street at the intersection of Congress Street.  The bus will no longer pick up at 100 Cambridge Street in front of Burger King.

Please note that the MVRTA Boston Commuter buses operate Monday through Friday.  

There is no Saturday or Sunday Boston Commuter service.

MVRTA does not operate on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
